I have come across this very nice article( Quest for theTrue North ) by actress Nandita Das. She explains here how biasness prejudices plays an important role in our judgments. She has mentioned with the example of current election and of course Narendra Modi. But after that read it struck to my mind, there are certain elite and educated class still do not like Modi and dont go for him, then i thought why and exactly what point which modi endorses is not suitable for India or atleast those groups who don't like the idea of developed India with modi. It's independence day. 73 years of freedom. Definitely a long time ago our ancestors fought and got this freedom for us, many sacrificed their lives for the same. The Alchemist I have read this book recently after my friend pushed me so much to read, even he has given me the book. The situation also supported me to read the book as I had to travel nearly 28 hours in train and by virtue of Neelam, the flood in Andhra Pradesh later that converted into more than 40 hours journey and in this time period, The Alchemist was my friend to kill the time but as I get deeper and deeper into the book, that become my philosopher and guide to realize the dream and to understand the world around me, understand my approach towards life and most importantly to understand myself.
